Deploy the Application & Load Balancer

Finally it is time to actually deploy the web application. In this part we will:

• Deploy the app instance on a private subnet
• Configure the app instance to connect to the private bucket and database
• Deploy and configure a public load balancer instance

App Instance

step 2:

In the EC2 dashboard, click Launch instance

Give your app instance a name

step 4:

Select the AMI that you setup in the last part

step 5:

For Network settings, click Edit

step 6:

Select the custom VPC and one of the private app subnets

step 7:

Select existing security group and select the app security group
